"We've lived all over the country and probably in 6 to 8 homes over a period, our married life, and this is the best built home we've ever lived in. It had so many extras in it, so many convenient things that we've enjoyed. The fireplace, tile floors in the kitchen area, granite countertops..."

"The kitchen cabinets are beautiful! I love the family room that they put in this model. Square footage wise, I've lived in homes about this square footage before and this was the best use of square footage I've ever seen."

"We noticed all the fine details...the casements over the doors and the travertine tile, the granite...everything was matched so well. I fell in love immediately with the 3 car garage. "

"My husband and I were fortunate to find a Gooden home under construction......While under construction we were able to see the quality of materials and workmanship that goes into a Gooden Home. I would highly recommend a Gooden Home to anyone looking to build or purchase a home that is already built."

I've been living in my Gooden home in Habersham for a little more than two and a half years now, and thought it was time that I shared with you the great pleasure that this wonderful home gives me.
There are many individual features that make this home a stand-out, conspicuous among them are the unexpected premium items like the beautiful granite counter tops in the kitchen and the architectural shingles on the roof; both of which I have always found to be expensive upgrades.
Also worthy of note is the quality of materials and installation of the house's insulation, a key to a comfortable home in this environment of 100 plus degree summer days and winter days that get down (and below) the 20's. I especially appreciate that since I have an elderly aunt (91) living with me; this house easily and economically maintains a comfortable short-sleeve environment with no attention to the thermostat, once the desired temperature is set. Visitors frequently comment on how comfortable my house is and ask me what makes it so?
I also compliment you on the quality (and workmanship) of the finish materials used in my home, and I stress that this is one of your "production homes," we did not purchase any upgrades at all, yet it is nicer than most of the custom or semi-custom homes I looked at before buying. It is very evident that you use top quality subcontractors and suppliers, and I assure you that from a buyer's perspective, this is a very pleasant surprise for a home listed in the $330's!
Another thing, hard to quantify but which adds enormously to the pleasure of living in the house is the variety of architectural detail, such as the vaulted ceiling in the great room, architectural openings in lieu of doorways; switchable lighted plant ledges (with electrical outlets!) and the tray ceiling in the spacious master suite. These fine features, along with the raised ceiling in the formal dining room, all contribute to a very comfortable gracious and spacious living space throughout the home, the very essence of what a fine home should offer.
I'd sum this up by saying that I continue to be very impressed by the value, comfort and style of my Gooden home. I couldn't be more pleased.
Sincerely
